Very often people are asking me why I chose to live in the USA Vs. my beautiful native country of France. It took me some time to realize that my subconscious mind was the real cause behind my decision.
You see as a child, I loved dearly my uncle Augusto who was prisoner in Work Camps during World War II. So of course he cherrished the American soldiers who liberated our country and by extention America. He was smoking Marlboro, drinking Jack Daniel and driving a Ford.
Funny enought, the first car I bought was a red Ford Fiesta and when playing with my cousine Michele, his daughter, her pseudo was "Angelic D' Euguenold" the British girl and I was "Myriam Baclair", the American. We even made passports with our new play names.
I really believe that my chilwood influenced my choice to start a new life in the USA in my late 20s. The attraction that I had for the USA was also coming from a friend of my parents, Guy Amouroux, who studied in the USA befor flying regularly to the new continent as a pilot for Air France. He would talk with passion of America, and brough me regularly gifts from Disneyland. I was also fascinated by the Disney carton that were playing at Christmas time.
Later on I heard of the advanced psychology research from Big Sur in California, and I wanted to discover new things from a new perspective in general.
Now you can understand how the subconscious mind can influence our choices. Which decisions have you made in the past that were influenced by your subconscious mind?
