Making excuses for not doing something that you previously committed to is often the sign of a pattern, creating the habits of self-deny. For example finding excuses for not exercising, cleaning a closet or the garage, or changing carrier, setting bounderies with family members or friends. You know what would benefit you but you cannot take action, feeling stuck, overwhelm, and confused. This may resonate with your personal experience with your own challenges. The procrastination, “I do not deserve” and “I do not matter” syndrome is the real issue here; not the money, not the time. Such limiting believes can be reset easily as long as trust and willingness take place.
